item of the Week-Groovie Blocks

These aren’t your average wooden blocks! Aside from being super groovy, they are also exceptionally educational. Designed using the latest educational theories for teaching basic math concepts, the Groovy Blocks help children learn sorting, ordering, opposites, and pattern building.

The set contains 28 grooved wooden blocks (1 1/2" cubed) with embossed numerals and math symbols, plus geometric shape sets that correspond to the number on the opposite side.

The grooved sides allow the blocks to be stacked more securely and allow interesting patterns when sequenced. The printed sides create endless design possibilities while the embossed images make each block a flashcard-like learning tool.

Made from basswood with brightly-colored, child-safe and non-toxic inks in Michigan. Ages 4+

Item of the Week-Pink Julia Dress

Beautiful and low maintenance! We love the bright colors and super-soft feel of this Picaflor dress, but what really grabs us is that it is entirely machine washable and dryer friendly. Coordinating bloomers guarantee lots of ooo’s and ahh’s!

Picaflor (“hummingbird” in Spanish) uses thoughtful fabrics and small-scale production to create a unique collection of knitwear that is designed for busy little wings. Picaflor’s knits are 100% Rayon, a natural fiber made from recycled wood pulp. Not only is it environmentally friendly, it’s soft and comfortable on the skin. Rayon is hypoallergenic, incredibly absorbent and wicks moisture away, making it great for year round weather.
