There are some things that represent certain places. To me, scooters represent Brooklyn.

In the past Brooklyn kids strapped milk or orange crates to skate wheels and made their own scooters. These DIY scooters would definitely not pass the safety standards of today. But, kids today don't have to fret. They can buy mini scooters (in fun colors)!

We love these Mini Kickboards. And we ordered them in aqua and orange - an unconscious homage to the milk and orange crates of the past??

Every month we will hold a coloring contest!

Entering the contest is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

1. Pick up a coloring contest sheet at Corduroy Kid.
2. Take it home, or color it in the shop. (Stay within the lines, or stray!!)
3. Drop it off at the shop (Before the end of the month!!)

Not only will the winning artist receive a special Corduroy Kid prize!
We will display their work of art on our website for all to see!
